THE female revolution will be televised, with Foxtel supercharging its 2016 programming with some of Australia’s most talented leading ladies.
Industry legend Sigrid Thornton, small screen regular Danielle Cormack, recently returned Anna Torv, the acclaimed Marta Dusseldorp and Hollywood export Jacki Weaver are just some of the female actors who will dominate the subscription TV giant’s channels next year.
Foxtel’s drama slate will also include political thriller Secret City, with Torv leading an all-star ensemble cast that includes Weaver.
“The story is incredible,” Torv said. “I read the script and couldn’t put it down. And the cast is so impressive. I think people will love the story.”
Anna Torv is officially back! Anna graced the Foxtel Upfronts 2016 blue carpet in Sydney wearing a stiking black and white striped dress. Foxtel formally announced Anna’s six part miniseries “Secret City” for their 2016 programming lineup. We’re really excited to see Anna back in the spotlight. She looks incredibly refreshed and 2016 looks to be quite thrilling!
